Stam 214 is a short but very successful breeding line which first began with the mare Frieda and her 2 ster daughters Loesje and Mariska, both sired by Wessel 237.

Loesje:
Loesje's most notable foal was the mare Leelke (S: Naen 264).  She was born 1986 and at 3 months old was given a 3rd premium at the Onbekend show.  As a 4 year old Leelke was awarded ster and at the grand age of 18yrs she had eventually earned her status to Preferent breeding mare.  Loesje's most notable offspring include the 1st premium ster mare Carla M. (S: Jillis 301), ster Preferent mare Lena M (S: Leffert 306 Pref.), and ster daughters Truda M. (S: Abe 346) and Xandra M. (S: Leffert 306.Pref).

The ster mare Carla M. is mother to the ster mare Tsjerke fan Grutte Gast (S: Fridse 423).  Another daughter is the studbook mare Marye W. (S: Jurjen 303) who has a ster daughter Afke fan Teakesyl (S: Karel 370) and Afke herself has foaled a ster daughter Trix fan Teakesyl (S: Andries 415). The gelding Rindert W. (S: Piter) has started in the dressage competitions and is showing good ability for the sport.

Lena M. is a super strong breeding mare with all her offspring achieving not less than 2nd premium.  Her daughters include the Model mare Anna Mieke Z. (S: Teunis 332), Kroon mares Matcheld Z. (S: Time 398) and Rixt Z. (S: Doaitsen 420). Lena M. foaled an FPZV licensed Studbook Stallion Joop Z. (S: Fabe 348) who is also a Performance Tested KFPS Stallion.  Joop scored a massive overrall total of 8.3 on his licensing assessment.  Lena's strengths lie in her ability to consistently produce daughters of high quality who are in turn producing offspring of high quality.

Truda M. has 2 foals, the colt Haring (S: Fetse) who recieved a 1st premium as a foal and was "Best Foal of Show" in Neustadt/Dosse 2003. Her other foal a filly sired by Wobke 403 has received a 2nd premium.

First daughter of Lena M. the Model mare Anna Mieke Z has foaled the 1st premium colt Rutger Z., and three consecutive 2nd premium foals.

Daughter of Lena M. the Kroon mare Rixt Z. was a 2nd premium foal at Suameer at 3 months of age. For the next  following 3 years she would be awarded the 1st Premium and in 2008 she got the ster predicate + 1st premium.  In 2009 not long after foaling Rixt Z. completed a successful IBOP examination with 78pts, this was enough to get her the prestigeous title of Kroon (Crown).

Mariska:
It is interesting to note that whilst Mariska (S: Wessel 237) is a ster mare herself, she did not actually birth any ster progeny directly.  However of particular importance is her daughter Pettie (S: Gerlof 294) who did produce the ster preferent mare Bea V. (S: Leffert 306 Pref.) who is mother of ster mare Wiefkje V (S: Jelte 365).  Wiefkje V had a history making birth when she delivered the later named Studbook Stallion Sjouke 453 (S: Doaitsen 420).  She has also since produced a full sister to Sjouke 453 named Tjikke V. (S: Doaitsen 420).

Mariska's studbook daughter Pettie produced another ster daughter of importance, Gepke V (S: Pike 316). Gepke has proved to be a very valuable breeding mare by gaining her preferent status through her 4 ster daughters all sired by the Preferent stallion Leffert 306; Willie V., Lutske V., Nellie V., and Pettie V.
