March 18 2011 Unfortunatley we have the sad news of the passing of young sporthorse filly Odessa. She was fondly referred to as the 'happy filly' around the property, her short lived life touched everyone and we will miss her, but her happy memories will not fade. Sweet little Odessa 03-12-2010 to 18-3-2011. |

January 2011 Being the international register for the true Friesian Sporthorse the FSA (www.friesiansporthorseassociation.com) has always welcomed Australian registrations, however there was a mammoth task of aligning the Performance books to cater for the differences in Australian equestrian competition. This has now been completed and Australian members can now register eligible Friesian Sporthorses into either the Main, Auxillary, Foundation Book or obtain a Certificate of Pedigree which enables the horse's future entry to the Performance Books when sufficient competition scores have been achieved. This is a huge step forward for Australian owners as it now empowers them to have the breed recognised with a reputable international studbook and horse's sportability aptitude can be assessed and recorded and a horse's status upgraded for recognition of quality which is very useful for potential buyers, breeders and owners and for traceability of bloodlines. |
November 2010 At the recent Margaret River Dressage Spectacular and only Omer's second Dressage competition he performed extremely well, posting scores over 76%. He was an excellent ambassador for the breed in this sport and gained much support from the East Coast Judge panel. |

September 26, 2010 3 years and 3 different horses we have been priviledged to take home the honours of the Grand Champion Friesian title. A fact we are very proud of which shows the strength of our breeding program. In 2008 our mare Elma held the title, 2009 her daughter Ymke KP was awarded the Grand Champion and this year, 2010 our stallion Omer RS fan Top en Twel is the current title holder. Omer and rider Rachel Brennen also won the ridden Friesian award. Tallulah, another resident mare and 10 months pregnant won the Best Presented, placed second in-hand and runner-up to Omer RS in the ridden. Our home bred young Friesian Sporthorse filly KP Romance won the Best Presented and her mare/filly class and was also very closely runner-up to the Grand Champion Partbred, which was awarded to a much older horse. We'd like to say thanks to everyone who has helped us and supported us along the way. |

September 19, 2010 Omer's debut into the dressage competition could not have been a happier day for all of us and a reflection of the hard work and dedication that Rachel has put into Omer RS. Rachel and Omer RS drew quite an unexpected large crowd gathering when literally the long side of the arena was lined with people come to watch the 'black stallion'. Very nerve racking for all of us involved but also nice to be surrounded by such a supportive group who were all happy to see this young combination emerge onto the dressage scene. A beautiful test and a very convincing win with a score of 73.18%, congratulations to Rachel and Omer RS on a job well done! |

July, 2010 Thanks to Roxleigh Performance Horses for allowing us to purchase such a high quality young horse. Roxy is a daughter of Welfenadel out of a Graf Landau mare. At her foal classification she scored an 8.5 for her type and an 8.5 for her trot. Her Sire is Welfenadel (Welt Hit II) who was an imported Licensed Hannoverian Stallion that competed successfully in Australia across Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing and now has been exported by his owner back to Germany where he enjoys a successful Dressage career at FEI Grand Prix under a young rider in conjunction Germany's PSI Stud. This young lady was specifically selected for future inclusion in our breeding program to produce the very best competitive Sporthorses - Omer RS and Weltmeyer lines!! What a combination! Aim for the stars! |

Monte has many wins both in front of the Sjees (Show Carriage) and Dressage. He was the National Reserve Dressage Champion and the National Carriage Champion, a very versatileStallion who is equally successful in both disciplines, a true representative of the Friesian Horse. March 12/13, 2010 Today we mourn the very sad loss of our beautiful Friesian Sporthorse Balgownie Sonata and her stunning colt foal KP Oracle. Oracle was rushed to Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital on Friday morning, however the vets could not save his life and he passed away from Acute Respiratory Distress. In the still of that very same night our dear Sonata, founding mare of Kendhall Park also laid herself to rest by Oracle's side in the paddock. Tests did not reveal any conclusive findings as to the cause of Sonata's passing, however we believe it was a combination of Fatigue, Heat, and distress. A mare very close to our hearts and a foal that was destined to go to big places with his new family. Our sincere condolences to the Campbell family, two lives taken too soon. |

February 3, 2010 The first born Friesian Sporthorse Colt by Omer RS fan Top en Twel, and out of our Multi champion and Supreme winning mare Balgownie Sonata, Oracle was entered into the ACE inspection as a 3 month foal. Oracle's scores for conformation were faultless, and his movements were also good enough achieving a total score of 74.25%. We are very proud of this foal and his record high score for a Friesian Sporthorse in an ACE inspection since the Tour first begun. |

January 31, 2010 With dramas on our home front at the stud meant we could only have time to enter the one young Friesian mare at this year's breed show spectacular. A record number of entrants attended the show and there was a considerable number of Friesians and Friesian partbreds representing both rings. On behalf of our client, the young mare Tallulah was prepped and trained for the event. She rewarded our efforts with a Supreme Friesian sash and a Top 3 of Show sash. The young gelding KP Elkochino, owned by Camille Mumme and shown by husband Craig Mumme was also having a very successful day winning Supreme Friesian Warmblood and Top 5 of show. Also a yearling gelding KP Armani owned and shown by Kirsty Bradford was sashed second place to KP Elkochino. The Kendhall Park horses are really cementing their dominance in today's showring. |

September 29, 2009 This year's Royal saw us enter only the one horse, Ymke KP and what an ambassador she was. Last year we took Ymke's mother, Elma and she won the Championship, and now this year, represented by her very own daughter, Ymke KP takes the coveted top award of Champion Friesian! Two years running our stud has now been priveledged to hold this status and nobody can dream for it to be done in better fashion with back to back wins from both Mother and Daughter. Top quality breeding! |

February 23, 2009 Amber sustained a fracture of her Distal Humerus on Saturday morning which proved to be fatal. Residing in her new stable with post and rail small yard, neither ourselves or the vets can come up with a conclusive determination of how she sustained such a break and we are heart broken by her loss. A beautiful kind filly with a heart of gold, she was rushed to Murdoch on Saturday and Radiographs revealed a dim picture of poor little Amber's fracture. Surgeons operated on Monday morning, they tried for over 4 hours to stabilise the fracture with an implant but could not get enough strength into the structure to be confident it would hold, so without putting Amber through anymore excruitiating uneccessary pain, we had to admit defeat and let her go. I'm sorry little Amber, we really tried our hardest, and you were such a fighter. Rest in Peace baby girl, we all miss you dearly. |
|
February 1, 2009 We entered 3 of our horses into this show, KP Elkochino our young Friesian Sporthorse, Ymke KP, and Omer RS. All 3 of our horses won their classes respectively!!! This is a great result for us and a good indication of the quality we have present at our stables in Western Australia! |
|
December 7, 2008 Again, this fine young filly bred by us, and imported in utero showed the judges why she is so special winning all her classes, sashed Supreme exhibit, Top 5 Junior exhibit (for horses under 3 years), Runner-up SOS Junior exhibit (missing out by 1 point!), Top 5 SOS Horse Exhibit (over 14.2HH) and Runner-up SOS Horse exhibit! She is showing WA why she is just so damn hot and becoming a familiar face around the show scene! |
|
Decemer 4, 2008 Amber is an imported in utero Main Foal Book Friesian filly, we purchased earlier this year, she finally arrived at her new home this week and she is just divine! A daughter of Doaitsen 420 out of a Sape 381 Ster mare, Amber is a welcomed new bloodline for WA friesians and forms part of our breeding team. You will see her strutting her stuff in the show ring over the next few years. |
|
October 25, 2008 Our imported Filly, Ymke KP (Monte 378 Sport x Leffert 306. Pref. Sport) surprised us all on the weekend with her big win! Not only winning her breed classes, but she took out the top award of the day, Supreme of Supremes! Surpassing every other horse on display with the judges' saying it was a unanimous decision! Well done baby Ymke at only 18 months of age! |
