Leffert is an exceptionally outstanding model stallion for the Friesian breed being proclaimed “Preferent” in 2005. This is a tremendous accomplishment to his name.! He has 5 approved sons including – Heinse 354, Minste 384, Tsjalke 397, newly approved son Jesse 435 and the 2007 World Champion Friesian Onne 376! There is no other living Friesian Stallion that can boast such a star studded family! It has also been noted that none of Leffert’s offspring have shown any hereditary defects! Leffert’s Mother Bonstje is a well-known mare in the Friesian world, she is also the mother to another FPS Studbook Stallion Teitse 428 (Reyert 377 x Bonstje Ster Pref (Oepke 226).
Leffert himself is always a 1st Premie stallion, and is also a Two times Grand Champion Stallion at the annual FPS show. He is not just a ‘pretty face’ either, Leffert was a member of the Stallions Quadrill, competed at Z-Level Dressage and has many Championship wins under saddle and carriage (Sjees). Leffert continues to produce over 56% Ster progeny, thus producing quality horses that frequent in the top 20% of friesian horses in the world. He is a renown Stallion for producing horses that excel in Dressage and Sportability and he passes on his fantastic character.
