Elma is an Imported Studbook Ster Friesian mare.  She is a Supreme Champion inhand winner and Grand Champion Royal Show winner.

She was hand picked in Holland and we imported her to Australia in late 2006.  She is a beautiful mare to handle, very smooth to ride and has the most gentle of natures.  Throughout her training, instructors have commented on her lovely paces, perfect for dressage, nice active hind end and engaged, she steps well under her body.

The mother of Elma is the Ster mare Adilia who needs only one more foal to get the Ster title and she will become Preferent.

Elma is a daughter of the lengendary Preferent sire Leffert 306 Sport, out of the Ster mare Adilia by Jakob 302 Sport.

She has given birth to 2 fillies both by Monte, her first, was retained in Holland and awarded the coveted Ster status and entered into the studbook. Her second born filly, Ymke KP has also been awarded the Ster status and she is the double state champion of Western Australia 2009/2011.  This means Elma is now halfway to becoming a Preferent Breeding mare!  2010 Elma foaled a colt, his name is Florensz KP, a beautiful modern colt who has enjoyed much success in the show ring as a multiple Supreme winner, Top 5 and Supreme of Supreme winner, along with much positive feedback from the KFPS inspection panel at 18months old.

Elma and I did a small ridden display as the entrance to our Wedding in 2008 at El Caballo Resort, I have complete trust in this mare, she really looked after me (and the white dress! We were both so nervous) as it was actually raining, and had been all morning, she is such a star undersaddle, first time with a big white dress over her back, first time with a flapping veil blowing, first time in the arena with Flags, poles, loud music, large audience etc.  Please take a look, its a tribute to her beautiful and trusting temperament, why would you want to ride any other!
