The daughter of our imported Ster mare, Elma and by the Approved Studbook Stallion Monte 378 ("Mon-tuh") who has the Sport Predicate. Ymke is now classified as a Studbook Ster mare, her full sister who was retained by the stud in Holland is also a Ster mare.
Ymke KP was awarded WA STATE CHAMPION FRIESIAN at the 2009 and 2011 ANZFHS Keuring. Judges were impressed by our stunning girl, saying she possesses many of the desirable characteristics of the ideal Modern Friesian horse. Even with a foal at foot at the time of judging Ymke still showed beauty and splendor true to type. We are elated with the feedback and very proud breeders' of this beautiful girl! Ymke's first foal by Omer RS was awarded a very high 2nd premium and only 0.5 point shy of 1st premium. This filly was also awarded "Best Australian Bred Friesian in WA"

Ymke has the most beautiful stallion-like looks and amazing movement, she is simply breathtaking, the suspension, uphill frame, engagement, balance and rythym, she is such a divine picture to watch. Ymke has a beautiful front, her head is elegant, her poll is long, and her neck arched, she is correct throughout her conformation.
